Black and brown are one of those color combinations that stop and make you go hmmmmm....other things that I ponder:
1. How my husband is a golf pro yet I cannot even swing a golf club
2. Having about 50 cookbooks but I STILL dislike cooking
3. Dressing up to run errands and seeing no one that you know, but when I look like hell...I see everybody
4. How I can never get up on time during the work week but always get up at like 8am on the weekends
5. Why food's that are good for you always taste so bad, yet food's that are bad for you always taste soooooo good
(I could go on and on and on...in fact-this might be a weekly thing!)

JC Penny belt
When I was younger black and brown looked hideous together, but I think it's because people were pairing black pants with brown shirts. THAT is tacky. Plus fashion back them WAS pretty tacky. lol
ReplyDeleteI love micing browns and blacks- if done the right way- like you have done- it looks chic to me. I love brown boots with black leggings and tops too.
Stopping by from Location Central blog/Tennessee.. XOXOXO!!

Your black and brown looks great together. And that list is great: 3 and 4 are so true.
ReplyDeleteAt this point I'm kind of obsessed with mixing black and brown! You look great:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments on my blog.

I often have similar ponderings...except I do belive my golf swing is prettier than my husbands...of which I am quite proud.
ReplyDelete:)
I like a little brown and black together I must admit and I love your outfit
ReplyDeleteI love how you mixed black and brown! And I completely agree with #5, especially around the holidays.
ReplyDeleteHahaha...your ponderings hit right at home. Cute outfit. I like the cardigan a lot. I manage to still only have solid colored cardigans.

A) this looks great on you...B) You hit the nail on the head (wow, overused expression there...just go with it) with #3!!! I was JUST talking about this the other day. I had on the cutest outfit and was having a great hairday and guess what, I didn't see anyone who could remotely appreciate it. But just let me waltz into Publix in by PJ bottoms and no makeup with a scarf wrapped around me like a neck brace and the governor will be standing by the door to greet me. What's with that??? Ahhhh the curses of small town life.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous cardigan. I love how you paired the print with your black dress :)
