I have been in a weird funky funk this past week. I am chalking it up to post holiday depression...all the excitement has worn off from the holidays and the reality has sunk in that my next day off will not be until Memorial Day.
However, that all changed this morning! I jumped out of bed (without even hitting snooze) and started getting ready for the day. I picked a comfortable yet chic outfit, drank some hot chocolate and was even 5 minutes early to work.
The weather was perfect for photo taking...that grayish sky that makes everything clear in your pictures caused the fastest and easiest photo shoot I have had in a long time. I didn't even have to edit any of my pictures and I always have to do at least some kind of minor tweaks.
Tonight hubs and I are going to a new brazilian steakhouse with some great friends and I am very much so looking forward to that. Don't you just love it when everything.goes.your.way!!!!!
