Dress and Cowboy Boots

I like wearing my cowboy boots with casual dresses...although I am from the South, I don't like looking overly "country". I avoid plaid, huge belt buckles, suede and fringe while wearing them and try and keep everything else to a minimum.

No cattle drives or rodeos for this girl and now that I think about it I don't own anything with fringe or a huge belt buckle anyways.

Orange and Navy

Every weekend I swear off my Old Navy jeggings.

"Why don't you try on your bootcut jeans or a casual dress" my mind says but every weekend I get sucked back in to the stretchy goodness that is The Rock Star Jegging.

Warm Weather

The weather was so nice here yesterday and I discovered the buttercups blooming in the front yard in February...February for goodness sake! I am going to get so spoiled and then it will go and get cold again and I will freeze my bum off.

I got this skirt a while ago but have been holding on to it because it just felt more Spring/Summer looking to me and with the temperature at 70 degrees there is no time like the present.

Trash to Treasure...

Have you heard the idiom one man's trash is another man's treasure? Well, in this case whoever thought this purse and pair of pants were worthless-thank you from me. I picked up the purse at a vintage store on my day off on Monday and the pants at a consignment store a while back.

I Had A Makeover-A Blog Makeover!

Welcome to my new blog design!

My blog makeover was completed yesterday and I could not be happier with it. I went back to the basics (so to speak) and decided to delete the clutter and just go with clean lines and a more simple structure. If you are a blogger and are in the market for a "remodel" I highly recommend Designer Blogs-very easy to work with.

I was off work on Monday but still was out and about...it's amazing how a black blazer can spice up a outfit.

Winter White

I finally broke out my white jeans for the first time since buying them. It was beautiful outside over the weekend and they were calling out to me. It's Electric!

Since neon hues are popping up everywhere and the trend doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon, I have been keeping my eyes out for brights to add to my closet.

Black and Blue

After working ten and a half hours yesterday the last thing I wanted to do is celebrate Valentine's Day. I wanting nothing less than to cuddle up in my pajama's and watch mindless television and unwind. I got home and my husband had dinner made for me (that we ate in our jammies) and flowers sitting on the counter....I love that man!

Black and Leopard

Man-last week was such a busy one! I had something to do every night after work except for Monday so the weekend provided some much needed down time.

I had a completely different outfit picked out in my head to wear to work but when I tried it on, it didn't look right at all. I scrambled to throw on this dress and cardigan and added the leopard at the last minute. I think mixing the prints work and I still made it to work on time.
