***I got samples of the Lindi Skin Products months ago but actually waited until now to do a review so I could give my honest opinion after continuous use.***
First of all, I was super excited to receive these skincare products cause I had just found out I was pregnant with twins and wanted to use something that was safe and gentle. Anything applied to the skin is absorbed through the body so it is important to be as careful with skincare as with the food and beverages one consumes. This was a HUGE selling point to me personally because I want to be as protected as possible during this pregnancy with everything I do, even something as simple as skincare.
The Lindi Skin brand was created in 2003 as the first complete skincare line designed specifically for the unique needs of people undergoing cancer treatment. Its safe, gentle, clinically-proven line of skincare is perfect for anyone with compromised skin and its calming, spa like packing and wide range of products is gaining a following of savvy beauty consumers across the population spectrum who want to use the best healing and protective products to restore their skin. Lindi Skin uses the most healing botanicals and antioxidants to deliver ultra-hydration resulting in healthy and protected skin.
I tried (and completely used up) the Lindi Face Wash ($22)- The face wash is a gentle alternative to soap that works to achieve an optimal PH balance. This was my least favorite of all the products I tried but saying that, I think it is because I am so utterly obsessed with my regular face wash that I won't give anything else a chance. I like foaming face washes because I actually feel like my face is getting clean and this has no lather at all. I am also partial to using my Clarisonic skin care brush and I just didn't like this face wash combo with my brush.
Lindi Eye Hydrator ($30)- This product is designed to soothe dryness in the sensitive area round the eyes. It is an extremely nutrient rich gel that reduces puffiness and improves skin tone. This stuff was the bomb dot com! It looks pretty weird and goopy in the packaging but once you put it on, it sinks right into the under eye area and starts working.
Lindi Lip Balm ($10)- This is a compact solution for lip care and easily fits into a pocket or handbag for easy access. This product was the same as any chap stick I have ever used but I was completely smitten by how adorable the tiny container was. Sometimes I buy stuff just for the cute packing and this won me over.
Lindi Face Serum ($40)- The serum is formulated with the highest concentration of Lindi's Skin proprietary LSA Complex, replete with botanicals, antioxidants and vitamins. I really like this serum and have been using it nonstop, it is very soothing and makes my skin look and feel great. I will probably purchase this again once I run out.
Presently, there are twelve items ranging in price from $10-$40 and Lindi Skin can be purchased on the brand's website or in select drug and cosmetic stores as well as medical centers with specific locations listed at lindiskin.com.
I haven't read your blog in ages but I saw this and wanted to say congratulations!!! How exciting :)
