If any of you guys follow me on Twitter you probably saw that I went to Target on my lunch break yesterday and came out $130 bucks poorer but with a pair of heels, 3 (more) cardigans, 1 skirt and 1 dress. I seriously have a shopping addiction BUT this will soon stop because as of February 1st I am on a month.long.shopping.ban!!!!
Some of you probably think I have lost my mind and all the other's have figured out by now I am taking Kendi of Kendi Everyday up on her 30 for 30 challenge next month. I am scared to death I will suck at this challenge and also excited I am pushing myself to do this because I love, love, love to shop! It will be so nice to actually save up some money next month and the hubs will probably want to kiss Kendi on the mouth for coming up with this smart, money saving idea!

I live way too far away from Target to go run out and buy that dress, but Oh. My. Gosh! I love it! You look so beautiful, too!
ReplyDeleteThe 30x30 will be great! I know you'll do well with it.
I have a Target and a Kohl's 5 min away...lunch time shopping breaks are frequent for this shop-a-holic also! Good luck with the 30-30 challenge, I'm excited to see your outfits!
ReplyDeleteTarget has some of the cutest stuff! anytime i can leave there spending less than $100 i feel like i've succeeded.
ReplyDeleteI love this whole outfit!! And I love Target.
ReplyDeleteDo you go to http://shehathdonewhatshecould.blogspot.com/
She does reader Target outfits periodically! You should submit your's!
I love this dress! In fact, I have it set to post in a "spring" post - - maybe even later this afternoon. Love that you paired the embellished cardi with it.
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous. The color is INCREDIBLE on you! Target is my favorite. I refuse to walk into that store right now. You'll love the 30 for 30! I did it last time (well, most of it), and it was fun. I'm a little overwhelmed right now, though, and am trying to sift through all of my closet items, so I'm not doing it this go-round. Can't wait to watch you, though!
ReplyDeleteoooo, that Target. Gets me EVERY time. But you got some great stuff - I LOVE that cardi. I start the 30x30 early, and am on day 7, shopping band and everything. It's hard, but NEEDED. I won't even allow myself to go to Target - not even for "household" stuff. Can't be trusted. haha.
ReplyDeleteyou know it's kind of crazy, but if you can make it 30days with out shopping you will come out a changed woman. I was seriously a shopaholic, but after going a month with out shopping it totally changed my perspective on needs vs. wants.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Target the bestest!? Or worstest when you're trying not to spend! Can't wait to watch your 30...I'm feeling pretty inspired by yall!
ReplyDeleteI love that cardigan!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the new cardigan!
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just need to go on a little shopping spree, it's good for the soul.
Good luck with the shopping ban.
Chic on the Cheap

ReplyDeleteYou have fantastic willpower to go a month without shopping. On the months that I put myself in that restriction, I thrift. I have found so many designer duds at Goodwill with the store tags still on them!!
ReplyDeletethis cardigan is beautiful and with all the items you bought, $130 is a pretty good deal! and these boots go perfectly with the outfit!
ReplyDeletecute and little
