Wearing a full skirt on someone that is not a size 2 or 4 can be tricky to pull off without making you look larger...at least in my personal opinion. I played around with different tops, cardigans, and button downs before settling on this slouchy sweater that I knew I could belt (belting any top with this type of skirt on my figure was a given). To play up the retro feel of the skirt I added a vintage belt and purse in multiple colors, all with shades of the same mustard tone to tie it all together.
