There is something about wearing new clothes and shoes that just makes me positively giddy. I picked out my outfit the night before and decided on my new dress and boots that I got on sale this past Sunday. I was in the best mood all day long...naturally my shopping high is responsible.

Shopping Weekend

My parents came to visit this past weekend and all we did for 3 days straight is shop and eat! I pretty much lived in leggings or skinny jeans, with a oversized shirt and scarf every single day. It is a no fuss weekend outfit and one I wear repeatedly more than I care to admit.

Feels Like Spring

I don't care if old Punxsutawney Phil did see his shadow...if the next six weeks of "winter" are gonna feel like yesterday I will take it! At one point in my car it was showing 67 degrees outside and I wore short sleeves, no tights and no jacket to work.

Stripes...

I was scrolling through Facebook the other day and came across a bunch of comments on Ann Taylor Loft's wall about people bashing stripes. They were complaining that stripes are unflattering on anyone under a size 2 and wanting the trend to stop.

Reality check-I am not a size 2 and still like to rock stripes! You just have to find a type of stripe that works for you and style it to make yourself feel fabulous.
