I had the best weekend with my mom!

She got here on Thursday night and just left yesterday and we shopped til we dropped, went out to eat non-stop, got pedicures and drank a LOT of wine while she was in town.  

It was just what I needed and I am ready to take on this work week.  Happy Monday!

Day EIGHT and Things That Make Ya Go Hmmm!

I busted out of my comfort zone and took pictures at work today....well, actually behind my work near the dumpster and NO-I am not a garbage man!

Some things that makes me go hmmm this random Wednesday:

1. Shaving your legs only to later feel a hair patch that you skipped over on your knee (happens all.the.time)

2. Shrinking a dress in the washing machine and now can only be worn as a cropped top

3. Wrapping yourself in a warm, oversized sweater only to get fuzz all over everything you touch

4. Setting your alarm for PM instead of AM

5. Trying to decide who Finn is gonna pick....Rachel or Quinn (and-that's what you missed on Glee)

Day THREE

In case you have not noticed I am taking this week easy and doing simple pairings to showcase my actual items before remixing the heck outta them. Take today for instance, one black dress + colorful cardigan=business casual outfit (at least in MY fashion book).

Does everyone like my necklace?!?! My friend Keeley has started making the cutest necklaces, hair accessories, and baby items and I have just flipped over her creations! As soon as I saw her homemade goodness I turned in my order for two necklaces right away...wanna see the other one, well you just may or may not tomorrow.

Day TWO and Things That Make Ya Go Hmm??

Day two of the 30 for 30 challenge and the weather is still on my side! I have nude pantyhose on (again) and my skirt looks like wall tapestry, don't judge!

Onto the things that make me go hmmmm today:

1. Wearing a button up shirt that gaps open at the boobs (I cannot find my double sided tape anywhere!)

2. Ironing certain clothing just to have it wrinkle up again 3 seconds later.

3. Getting your eyebrows waxed and then running errands afterwards with your skin blazing red.

4. Being on a shopping ban and already finding something that you want to buy.

5. Wanting to take outfit of the day pictures outside and it starts pouring rain!

It's Almost The Weekend!!!

I almost froze to death taking these pictures the other day...it was raining and the wind was whipping around and then it hit me, I must really enjoy blogging! This is when I get all emotional and thank everyone for taking the time out of your day to visit my bloggy blog. I truly appreciate every, single one of you...both old and new readers!

This outfit is the exact opposite of what I wore on Wednesday..I must be on a pink and black kick. I think I bought one of these polka dot cardigans in every color from Target, but when I find something I like I buy in bulk. Oops!

So tonight is the night...ladies night! Me and all my hoochie mama friends (j/k) are going out on the town for one of my BFF's bachlorette party. I will have my camera handy because the best memories come from bad ideas and I would bet money with all of us together, we will get crazy!

Wild Women!!!

This dress is so far out of my comfort zone but I totally went for it...red lips and everything!!

I ordered my leopard print dress off of eBay from some little vintage store after staring at it for seriously 20 minutes trying to decide if I would ever work up the nerve to wear it out of my house. Leopard may not be that big of a deal to some people but up until now, I have always worn it in small doses...like my leopard flats or a purse.

Starting to get WAY excited for the weekend, I have a bachelorette party to go to for one of my besties tomorrow night. Whaaa!

1. Why do people run out to get milk every.single.time the weather calls for snow?

2. Finding the perfect article of clothing only to find that there isn't one available in your size!

3. Why do people (ahem- me) always crave fattening foods when they are on a diet?

4. People cutting line at the grocery store....why is it sooooo important to get your ice cream home before mine!!
