I busted out of my comfort zone and took pictures at work today....well, actually behind my work near the dumpster and NO-I am not a garbage man!
Some things that makes me go hmmm this random Wednesday:
1. Shaving your legs only to later feel a hair patch that you skipped over on your knee (happens all.the.time)
2. Shrinking a dress in the washing machine and now can only be worn as a cropped top
3. Wrapping yourself in a warm, oversized sweater only to get fuzz all over everything you touch
4. Setting your alarm for PM instead of AM
5. Trying to decide who Finn is gonna pick....Rachel or Quinn (and-that's what you missed on Glee)
Target shirt
Payless boots
Kohl's skirt
The Limited scarf
Charlotte Russe tights (click here to purchase)
Belt from a small boutique here in Knoxville
Yay for venturing out to new places! And double YAY for that adorable scarf!!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to that alarm one.. I did that last week but thank god I woke up before I was supposed to anyway. Those boots are from Payless? They look so nice and much more pricey! You are doing great with your shopping ban challenge! xo Joanna
ReplyDeleteI can't tell even begin to tell you how many times I have set my alarm for PM instead of AM! Those days are the worst!
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute!! Love the scarft and patterned tights!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that scarf! Good combo with the fun tights.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit, I love the scarf!! And good luck with the rest of 30 for 30!! Im doing it too, and loving it!

Love this look and all of the layering (I am horrible at layering). And I do #1 ALL.THE.TIME. In fact, I'm pretty sure I managed to do it today too!
ReplyDeleteNew to your blog- adore it!
ReplyDeleteLove this look. You look gorgeous! That scarf is perfection :)
Hugs xoxo
dumpster chic!!
ReplyDeleteLove the belted scarf and the patterned tights...great outfit!
I think he picks Rachel in the end...
Ugh, I SOOO run into #1 all the time, and its so frustrating! And #2 sounds horrible! I love this outfit! The tights rock and the boots fabulous! :)
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to this ENTIRE list! So funny! Oh, and I'm your newest follower. :)
ReplyDeleteThose tights are the bomb!!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous tights! I don't know if I'll ever be comfortable taking pictures at work. But great making that dumpster as a background work! :)
ReplyDeleteUrgh I so desperately want Quinn to stay with the new guy. He's more my type than Finn is...I also like Rachel and Finn together. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm freaking out over that scarf!! Why don't I have an animal print scarf?! Seems wrong. And yeah #3 especially really bums me out sometimes..
ReplyDeleteAshley J! Liking the leopard in your posts! I think I have that sequin tank, too. AND I've been to Knoxville, more so Pigeon Forge, but I love your state.
ReplyDeleteONE: Scarf + tights = phenomenal. TWO: omg on #5. JUST O.M.G. cannot take the wait 'til next Tuesday. And I'm adding THREE: (a thing that makes me go Hmmmmm)- dress I was wearing today was apparently the static cling king of the world- as it was between my wool coat and tights this morning, I found myself veerrrry chilly on the bottom half. I looked down (halfway to my office from the lot, which is about 1/2 mile) and WHOOPS! no dress! donde esta my dress, you ask? oh... at my waist. oopsie.
ReplyDeleteYay for venturing out! I have sort of gotten used to it. I was taking pictures once and right in the middle a whole track team of boys ran by. Talk about awkward! But people giving me weird looks is actually few and far between. It's funny what people shrug off when they see a camera is involved.
ReplyDeleteThose tights are s fun! and yes definite hmmm... on the hair knee situation. It always makes me grumble.
great Hmmmm things today, all of them are so freaking true!
ReplyDeletethis outfit is perfect - a little bit rocker and totally chic. the leopard scrarf is fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many "delicate" loads of laundry we do per month. Everything I love I hang dry so I can actually wear it again. Half of my house looks like a laundry mat of drying clothing until my husband has had enough and tells me to put it all away. the dryer is evil and purposely makes me feel fat by covertly shrinking my clothes. what a jerk!
Thanks for your sweet comment! I was actually feeling pretty crumby about my hair and you totally cheered me up (it's hair cut day, so it feels a bit shaggy--you know how that goes)! And if I wasn't doing the 30 for 30 challenge, I would be ALL over buying those snazzy tights! Too cute. You are just too cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at the patch of hair.. lolol!! I can't tell you how many times I shave one leg and forget to shave the other!! HA!
