I finally broke down and bought a pair of military style cargo pants. It also helped that they were on sale for only $21.00 at JC Penny and I had a gift card...go me, go me! This is what I wore to dinner at the in-laws house over the weekend.
I miss living in the same town as my parents, which are only a mere 3 hours away. You would think after almost 10 years of being apart I would be use to it by now but I still get sad sometimes. When I am sick the first person I want is my mom I don't care how old I am. If someone in my family is in trouble and need me...I am to far away to be much help in fast acting situations. When hubs and I start trying to have a family, I want our baby's grandparents to live nearby. I do love living in K-town and would miss all my friends terribly but it is something to think about.
