I bit the bullet and bought the Madewell skinny overalls I have been obsessing over for weeks now. They are pretty pricey for my standards, I don't even have regular jeans this expensive but I found a long, lost gift card to Shopbop from 2014 (if you follow my Instastory you saw the whole thing) so they were FREE:)

After debating between the medium and large and even talking online to someone on the live chat I opted for the large and I am so glad that I did! I am normally in a size 6/8 and 150 pounds and the size large was tight on me. They have since stretched a bit and fit perfectly but I had to really suck in my 'mommy tummy' that first try on.

 I love the skinny fit and the length and think I will get a ton of use out of these. If you are on the fence about getting them- just do it and be sure to size up!

Thank You UPS Man!

When I got home from work Tuesday, it was like the fashion gods knew my 30 for 30 challenge was up and I had not one, not two, but three packages waiting on my doorstep! I was so excited I barely made it inside before I was ripping everything open.



First package was my House of Harlow 1960 jewelry I ordered after winning a Shopbop giftcard from Miss Melanie of Unravelled Threads. I have been admiring Nicole Richie's line from afar and Shopbop carried her line, so it was the perfect opportunity to purchase some of her stuff and it is beautiful. I actually wore the necklace yesterday if you missed it.



Next was one of my early birthday presents from my mom. When I was home, my mom hosted a mini CAbi fashion show and I picked out TONS of things that I couldn't live without and this corporal cardigan was one of them. Military inspired and a cardigan...yes please!


The last package was my favorite because it was from a reader and fellow blogger Kelly Ann of I Borrowed Your Silver Boots. The packaging was the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life and the note included kindda made me teary eyed. She actually made me this amazing necklace and I love, love it. Please check out her blog because she is a beautiful person-both inside and out!
