Today is the final day of my blogger swap with Kinsey of In Kinsey's Closet! Everybody at work loved this little pink and white dress that she sent me and since it stays pretty chilly in the office I threw on my blue cardigan with it.

It's Swap Time: Day Four

Okay-this is by far my favorite outfit I have worn this week and it's all thanks to Kinsey of In Kinsey's Closet and our blogger clothing swap. She mailed me this skirt and I knew I wanted to wear it to work, but didn't decide until this morning what in the world to pair it with. I am loving the neon trend right now and while this top is not "day glow" yellow it was the perfect choice along with some bright teal accessories.

Thanks for all the kind words about my friends and I starting boot camp yesterday! Unfortunately it rained and the location was outside so for fear of the thunder and lightening it got postponed until Monday. I will let everyone know how the progress goes next week.

It's Swap Time: Day Three

It's day three of my blogger swap with Kinsey of In Kinsey's Closet and I am still loving everything she has sent me. Instead of wearing her button up shirt the traditional way, I opted to wear it loose and flowy for a more casual vibe to work today. Check out how Kinsey wore this shirt here.

Wish me luck ladies (and gents if any read my blog)! Me and 5 of my close friends signed up for a boot camp that lasts the next four weeks starting tonight after work. It's gonna be a lot of blood, sweat and tears but hopefully it will be worth it in the end and maybe...just maybe...I will be able to fit into some clothes that I have been missing because they have gotten a little tighter than I would like to admit.

It's Swap Time: Day Two

If I was to ever fall in love with a skirt...this would be "the one". The fabric, the tulip shape, the muted color and not to mention an elastic comfortable waistband all helped me make this decision. So it saddens me to know at the end of the week I have to mail it back to Kinsey of In Kinsey's Closet. We started a blog swap yesterday and will be styling each other's clothing for the remainder of the week so make sure to check out her fabulous blog to see her working her magic with my clothes.

In the meantime- I might be sleeping in this skirt to get the most out of it....just kidding (maybe)!

It's Swap Time: Day One

Happy 4th of July everyone! I had to pull out my red, white and blue attire to celebrate so I was pleasantly surprised when I got my swap package from Kinsey of In Kinsey's Closet. She had the perfect red and white polka dot top and one of my favorite items from her closet (the white blazer) that she so graciously let me borrow for the week so I just had to pair them together along with my denim shorts to embrace Independence Day.

Clothing Swap, Day Two Outfit

It's day two of the clothing swap between Liz and I and she could not have sent me a more comfortable and versatile dress! I could seriously be happy having this dress in every color and just rotating them for the rest of my life.

The ease of putting this on today could not have come at a better time because last night a couple streets over a waterline burst and we didn't have water. I discovered this after trying to do a load of laundry and kept turning the dial to different cycles before yelling at hubs that the washer was broken. He fiddled with it for a while and we couldn't figure out what was wrong so we decided to deal with it the next day and moved onto dinner. It's kindda hard to make pasta without water to put into the pot!!!!! So frustrating!!! Everything I tried to do that night required water...cook, laundry, wash my face, brush teeth, flush the toilet (geez)!!!!

Needless to say, the water came back on sometime in the middle of the night and it was refreshing to throw this dress on and head out the door without something going wrong.

Clothing Swap, Day One Outfit

Back in September I volunteered to participate in Mad Dress Game's Clothing Swap! What's better than getting a package of clothes delivered in the mail to play dress up in for a month or so...nothing! Unless you got to keep all the clothing but alas I have to ship them back to the rightful owner.

The rightful owner and person I got paired to "swap" with is Liz from LizzyPunch! I was excited to share her clothes due to her playful and laid back approach she takes to fashion and she did not disappoint! It was like Christmas when I opened her package and looked at all the goodies she had shipped me along with two presents I get to keep for good...thanks Liz!!

Today I decided on a skirt from Liz as my inspiration and created my office appropriate look around it. This skirt reminded me of fall due to the colors so I grabbed an ivory top and a cardigan (what else is new)and my new patterned tights for fun and away I went!
