Oh hello March 16th, we meet again! 

 It's my birthday and I am ready to celebrate being born:) I may or may not have eaten cake for breakfast...true story. I am all packed up and ready to drive to Nashville on this beautiful sunny day. Tonight my family and I are going to Kayne Prime for a birthday feast and some celebration drinks to wash it all down.

   

 My "birthday suit" consists of my Old Navy skinny jeans and this adorable floral and stripe peplum top. The colors of this top are so much more vibrant in person...perfect spring transition piece.

 I'm off to enjoy being born! Have a fabulous day!!

Polka Dots and Flared Jeans

I am loving all the 70's inspired fashion right now, everything is so flowy and free spirited. I feel like I could walk onto the set of Dazed and Confused and blend right in. This outfit actually came about because husband didn't like the cute dress and heels I had on. He gave it some weird face and then made me all paranoid so I had to go back into my closet to rummage around for something else to wear.

Saturday night my friends and I got together to have some beers and sing karaoke. As if my Charleston trip last weekend wasn't enough, the people that couldn't go wanted to get together to have another celebration for my birthday. How does a girl get to be so lucky!

Happy 31st birthday to me...what's that you say, I don't look 31 years young? Why thank you so much!

I am sorry I have been missing in action so far this week, my job always is more hectic in the Spring/Summer and to say we have picked up is a huge understatement. Don't get me wrong, I love to stay busy because it makes my days fly by but I miss my everyday posting and don't even get me started about how behind I am on reading all my favorite blogs. Hopefully I can play catch up this weekend.
