I am in love with the fit of this dress. I am wearing a XS and it fits like a glove...it could be a tad looser in the bust but otherwise perfection.

 I thought this was the ideal outfit to wear for a Valentine's Day date. My husband and I actually celebrated this past Friday with lunch and a early movie while we had a babysitter to watch the kids. We will take what we can get- ha!

Black and White Stripes

 I got five inches cut off my hair and added layers over the weekend. The twins are in the stage where they grab on to anything, including my hair, and will not let go so I decided to go shorter since I wore it in a ponytail 70% of the time. It's not quite a "mom bob" but I'm headed in that direction.

Abstract Prints...

 This is the perfect summer dress! The fabric is lightweight and with the drawstring waist you can make it as tight or loose as you want. Nothing I hate worse than being in the heat of 90 degree weather with my clothes sticking to me...anyone else??

The Floral Pencil Skirt

 This skirt is totally out of my comfort zone- for one thing...it's bodycon.
 I am not down with any type of fabric hugging my curves and not so toned areas but I found something to wear with it to make it a little more doable for my body type. First a tank top to smooth out all my imperfections, then my trusted denim top that could be pulled together to cover my muffin top.  I'm actually pretty happy with the overall outfit and proud of myself for trying a scuba-knit hugging fabric from Gwynnie Bee.
 If you want to break out of your "comfort zone" I HIGHLY suggest Gwynnie Bee. I'm so glad I join last year- I cannot tell you enough how much I have enjoyed this clothing subscription service!

Weekend Casual Style

 Another pretty relaxing weekend and I think my style is starting to reflect that more and more. I have been wearing my Converse nonstop with skirts and dresses but decided to wear these comfy wedges to church yesterday. I bought this striped Loft skirt ages ago and sadly it is now sold out but I linked below to a couple different options.

Blue and Yellow

 Blue and yellow together are such a great color combination. I love how each color makes the other color POP. Also, how great is this Anthro necklace I picked up on Poshmark for a fraction of the cost. You need to get on Poshmark if you are not already for the bargains and follow me because I have a ton of stuff for sale.

 I had some extra time to curl my hair and it just proves how much of a beginner I am. It took 30 minutes and I burned myself...that's why it is a rarity folks:)

Vintage Easter

 Sometime new isn't always better. Take this vintage dress for instance...I wanted to wear something different that no one else would have on for Easter Sunday so I reached for one of my favorite thrifted finds. This dress was the perfect color for a beautiful Easter day, I looked like a Easter egg:)

My Birthday Suit

 

 Oh hello March 16th, we meet again! 

 It's my birthday and I am ready to celebrate being born:) I may or may not have eaten cake for breakfast...true story. I am all packed up and ready to drive to Nashville on this beautiful sunny day. Tonight my family and I are going to Kayne Prime for a birthday feast and some celebration drinks to wash it all down.

   

 My "birthday suit" consists of my Old Navy skinny jeans and this adorable floral and stripe peplum top. The colors of this top are so much more vibrant in person...perfect spring transition piece.
