Old Navy boyfriend jeans (click here to purchase), Old Navy button down (click here to purchase), Topshop heels, Loft jacket, Sassy Steals necklace, Vera Bradley sunglasses, Couture Crush purse

This past Friday was my five year wedding anniversary...holy shit...FIVE YEARS!

My husband and I celebrated with one of the best steak restaurants in Knoxville, unfortunately it's one of those hole in the wall kinda places so dressing up was outta the question.  I went with a denim on denim combo (a twist on the Canadian tuxedo if you will) but added a bright red jacket and polka dot heels to spruce it up.

Topshop heels, Target belt (click here to buy), CAbi blazer, JC Penny blouse (click here for similar), Loft pants, Altard State earrings

I absolutely love this outfit but I cannot take full credit for it.  I was browsing Pinterest for outfit inspiration and came across this and realized I had my own similar pieces needed to make.this.happen.

Ashley's Tip Of The Day- Just because you are not petite, which I am clearly not, don't underestimate shopping in the petite section. I was browsing the petite section at JC Penny and found this polka dot blouse with leather trim for $12 dollars people!

What's Old Is New

Poshmark vintage coat, Loft boyfriend jeans (click here to purchase), Topshop heels, Old Navy scarf, White House Black Market top (click here for similar), gifted earrings

I had been lusting over this vintage leopard swing coat since August 4th, 2013 (yes, I seriously know the date I spotted it) and now it is mine!  I saw it on Poshmark forever ago and kept it in my "likes" and seriously looked at it at least twice a week to make sure it hadn't sold yet.  It was a risky, risky gamble but it was pricey and I was also scared about the fit since vintage items usually run small.

I told a couple people it was at the top of my Christmas list hoping someone would get it for me and on Christmas day it became mine, thanks to mom and dad.  I absolutely love it!
