Simple Dress Code

March 26, 2014

Old Navy pants (shop similar here), Francesca's top (shop similar here), Forever 21 necklace, Gifted Jessica Simpson wedges for Christmas 12'

For the past week I have settled into a very simple dress code for work, play, weekends and errands. Just a very basic tee (these from Francesca's are on serious rotation in my wardrobe) a pair of colored/regular denim pants and a pair of cute shoes and a simple necklace.  I am liking the simplicity of getting ready and of course being comfortable all day.

Warmer temperatures call for lighter colors.  Hurry up Spring!

Rain Dance

Target booties and umbrella (click here to buy), Forever 21 tights, Charlotte Russe scarf, UP band by Jawbone (click here to buy), Dress purchased at local boutique

You will never see me doing a rain dance so the title is a little misleading...I loathe rain.  It puts a damper on taking blog pictures, my hair and working out outside (I might not have thought cancelling my Y membership all the way through mmmkay).

I tried to be all festive today whipping out the red tights in anticipation for Valentine's Day but colored tights may not be my thing. I always feel like people are looking at me weird but it may just be my imagination.

Payless wedges, Old Navy boyfriend jeans (click here to buy), Lauren Conrad for Kohls tank (shop similar here), Dillards cardigan, Badgley Mischka sunglasses (click here to buy)

If any of you have wondered what this eyesore (not the cutest accessory) is I have been wearing on my wrist here, here and here and pretty much every blog post since January, I got a UP wristband by Jawbone for Christmas.

I didn't even know what the heck it was when I opened it but once I researched it and actually started using it I fell in love.  Y'all this thing is the shit! It's amazing the motivation this little thing can have...getting in shape has never been easier.

Okay, now that my love for my UP band has been revealed- the winner of the Ann Taylor statement necklace can be found here!
