I probably love only a handful of outfits I actually wear and this is one of them.  I started putting this outfit together around my #OOTD tee and everything kinda fell into place from there.

I literally came up with this entire outfit while laying in bed the other night and it actually came together perfectly when I tried it on...that never happens with me!

 I am also loving all my new arm candy and I can't stop ordering more-I need an intervention.  Currently craving this and this.

I say I am wearing pastels in the title and my heels and cardigan can attest to that but the stripes on my Loft shell actually are neon orange. (they obviously don't photograph well)  This sleeveless top is a great summer staple and it does run big FYI.

Holiday Warmth...

I cannot believe it is almost Christmas and I am not wearing tights, this weather is crazy and I am not sure how I feel about that.  I hate being cold but kind of miss dressing in all sorts of layers and using all my heavy coats and scarfs.  

( I am probably going to regret saying this later on)

Nautical Stripes and a Cardigan

I really love the nautical look in the summertime. Anything that has black and white or blue and white stripes that I can grab my hands on in a store usually comes home to my closet. This Francesca's dress is a recent purchase but it was not on the website for a link up.  It is really comfortable and has the wide band that acts as a built in belt...perfect to throw on in a hurry.

Green and Blue

So much has happened in the past week! I have had LASIK, my mom came in town for the weekend, I had a birthday on March 16th, my first St. Patrick's Day pub crawl, we booked a cruise (2 months until we set sail) shopping and eating out nonstop...and I loved every minute of it.

I am trying to get back on track after such a whirlwind week.

Black and Leopard

Man-last week was such a busy one! I had something to do every night after work except for Monday so the weekend provided some much needed down time.

I had a completely different outfit picked out in my head to wear to work but when I tried it on, it didn't look right at all. I scrambled to throw on this dress and cardigan and added the leopard at the last minute. I think mixing the prints work and I still made it to work on time.

Pink and Green

So this outfit is a (very) weak attempt at color blocking! After looking back at my outfits from the last couple of weeks, it is clear that I need to bring more color into my wardrobe. I have been leaning towards more of a nude palette with sprinkles of black thrown in and that is just no way to dress during the springtime.

Be on the lookout this week as I try to break out of my shell and incorporate more bold COLORS into my life!!

Day SEVEN and a Blazer!

I actually cheated and wore this outfit on Sunday to run errands and go grocery shopping. What! You don't grocery shop in sequins...you really must try it sometime! Occasionally, I just like to make myself more presentable when I am running errands; it puts a little extra pep in my step.

I have also gotten like one or two requests asking about my makeup routine, working on getting a post up about that very soon!

(I am aware it looks like I am flipping off the camera above, pure accident but it's kindda funny)

Day SIX
