Well, I had my weekly ultrasound visit on Friday and it kind of sucked. I am officially on pelvic rest and no longer allowed to exercise and do any sort of heavy lifting and was told from here on out to sit more than I stand. The good news is I am not on full blown bed rest and can still work...is it weird that I count my job as a plus?

Grey Skies Equal Grey Dress

I got this dress at Burlington Coat Factory a couple weeks ago and I love it. It is not maternity but I did have to size up to a 1X because of the baby bump but it was cheap and oh so comfortable.

  On another note, does anyone have any ideas how to treat heartburn besides Tums? All the sudden I am getting heartburn twice a day and it is really getting on my nerves. I know it is a very common pregnancy symptom in the third trimester so it has sprung up right on target but I cannot deal with two more months of this...help me.

Lady In Red

 

If you follow me on Instagram, you will see that I have started to officially outgrow all my regular jeans (not even the rubber band trick is helping much anymore).  Thank goodness it is the season for wearing dresses... lots and lots of dresses. 

This contrast hem skater dress is just the kinda dress I like to wear.  Lightweight material, elastic waist and hits a tad above knee level. I also have this exact same dress in a different color- told you it's my favorite.

Holiday Warmth...

I cannot believe it is almost Christmas and I am not wearing tights, this weather is crazy and I am not sure how I feel about that.  I hate being cold but kind of miss dressing in all sorts of layers and using all my heavy coats and scarfs.  

( I am probably going to regret saying this later on)

Hello Yellow...

So I walked out in the living room and my husband's reaction to my bright pants was more of a, " Holy cow, you look like a giant BRIGHT banana" instead of the reaction I wanted which was more of a, "Wow-you look great in that color and I am proud you are brave enough to wear those pants."

It's okay because I am totally use to this....I got a similar reaction to the exact same pair of pants in red.

What I Got This Week

While I have not bought much of anything this week (got a mani and some magazines and that's pretty much it) I will totally make up for that tomorrow because I am going on a road trip!

I am going to visit one of my besties at her new home in Durham, NC. The shopping is supposed to be incredible so I am super excited and even more so to visit H&M in Raleigh because I have not stepped foot inside one of those stores since 2009. It's so sad we don't have one where I live but I plan on making up for it don't you worry!
