Well, my suitcase has exploded all over the bedroom and I have a ton of laundry to do but I am back from vacation.  San Diego was amazing and it seems like I brought back some of the fabulous weather with me because yesterday (when I wore this) the high was 71 degrees.  

I am gonna do a big ole blog post on my trip once I download all my pictures so probably over the weekend so until then check out the sneak peek on Instagram.

The week of Valentine's Day I cannot help dressing up in reds, pinks and utterly girly items like this fit and flare skirt and bow blouse.  My husband said this outfit "had a lot going on" but I love the doubled up polka dots.

This is a perfect example of what I wear on the weekends...only if I have to see people and run errands. (Let's be honest...most of the time I am in my pajamas)

It was beautiful outside yesterday and finally warm enough not to have to haul around a jacket so I took advantage and ran some errands, exercised outside and then had dinner with the husband and friends at P.F. Changs (yum, yum).

The weather we are having here is insane! It was warm enough not to even wear tights last week and now it is rainy and freezing cold.  I am not a fan...

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. We had our first Christmas party of the year (see pics on my Instagram) and I got to meet the sweetest brand new little baby boy on Saturday.  Yesterday my husband was off work...a rare treat...so we watched movies all day and just lounged around.

Blackbirds...

I have had this blackbird blouse for a couple months now and this is the first time wearing it.  I put it towards the back of my closet and forgot about it but now that we are reunited I plan on styling it lots of different ways.  Today was obviously casual with jeans and a little red cardigan but I can't wait to dress it up for work.

Tied Up With A Bow

Today I went for a little bit of glitz with my sequin bow tank. I added a knee length skirt and a cardigan to make it work appropriate but for the weekend I think it would look great paired with skinny jeans, tall black boots and a motorcycle jacket (if I had one).
