I am in love with the fit of this dress. I am wearing a XS and it fits like a glove...it could be a tad looser in the bust but otherwise perfection.

 I thought this was the ideal outfit to wear for a Valentine's Day date. My husband and I actually celebrated this past Friday with lunch and a early movie while we had a babysitter to watch the kids. We will take what we can get- ha!

Casual Valentine's Outfit

Today I am wearing a casual Valentine's Day inspired outfit. I love that it is simple and easy to put together but the added details like the gold buttons down the sweater and the quilted leather in the boots make it special.

Edgy Valentine

Today I decided to get a bit edgy with my Valentine's Day attire. You can't really tell from the pictures but I am wearing faux leather pants people...faux leather, can ya believe it!

 

I love Gwynnie Bee for the simple reason that I try new things that I would never buy for myself. I would have never known that I feel like a total bad ass in these jeans and that they are actually perfect for ladies night out or to feel sexy on a date night with my husband.

 

So...should I keep the pants??

Today I went with a more casual Valentine's Day vibe which is more along the lines of what I will be wearing due to the fact that my husband and I still have not made set plans. After being together for so long (almost 10 years) going out to celebrate has been replaced with staying in.



We still celebrate, don't get me wrong, but we have no desire to go out and battle 2 hour wait times for a steak when we can have a nice, juicy Fresh Market steak in the quiet of our own home...just the two of us.



This adorable XOXO tee is still at Old Navy so snatch one up before they are gone. I can see myself wearing it a bunch of different ways in the future and it is long enough to cover my rump and pass as a workout tee with leggings. Cute workout clothes are constantly on my mind right now.  (Just started Barre3 classes and I am already obsessed)

 Yesterday was so beautiful that I could wear my first Valentine's Day inspired outfit sans tights...what a great feeling!

Just another attempt in getting in one last Valentine's Day inspired outfit before the big day.  I have had this Charlotte Russe top for years and will not get rid of it because of the tiny heart print that I just love.  

If all goes well this time tomorrow (stupid snow has got me in panic mode) I will be on an airplane heading to San Diego with my love.  Happy Valentine's Day to me;)

The week of Valentine's Day I cannot help dressing up in reds, pinks and utterly girly items like this fit and flare skirt and bow blouse.  My husband said this outfit "had a lot going on" but I love the doubled up polka dots.

DNA Footwear sent me the best Valentine's Day gift I could have ever asked for....a pair of Hunter boots! I have been wanting a pair for so, so long and may never take them off again.

I really love this unique style called the Regent Carlyle Hunter boot, it is a refreshing change from the traditional Hunter wellington boots you see all the time and I have always been a fan of the equestrian shape.

Day TWELVE and a Valentine!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!! I added this heart print shirt into my 30x30 just for V-Day and I have put off wearing it until today to make more of an impact....did it work? Shout out to my sweet hubbie....Happy, Happy Valentine's Day-I heart you!!!

Did everyone watch the Grammy's last night....Lady Gaga has got to be the weirdest person ever but I am mesmerized by her! My favorite dressed ladies of the night were Julianna Hough, Jennifer Hudson, Lea Michele and Selena Gomez.

Now quit reading this blog and go stuff yourself with chocolate's...it's totally acceptable to buy yourself candy (and flowers) today!
