I am beyond obsessed with this boyfriend button down shirt. The dip dye on the bottom makes it unique as well as the purple color. I almost wish it was going to be colder a little longer so I could get more wear out of it...almost.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Mine was spend taking care of the twins, watching the Masters and getting my wedding rings re-sized.  Apparently my feet AND hands swelled during my pregnancy and while my feet went back to normal, my hands never did.  I have tried getting them fixed once before but the jeweler told me to wait because my hormones were still so outta wack and see if they fit closer to 6 months postpartum.  Unfortunately they never went back to my size 6 finger so after a LONG 8 months without wearing rings (during the end of pregnancy plus the past 6 months after having them) I am reunited with my precious rings.  I missed them so much!

This Time Of Year Messes With My Mind

 

Labor Day weekend usually ignites a transition from summer to fall for many people so I wanted to go out with a bang in this easy, breezy summer outfit. This top is the perfect send-off to summertime with it's bright cheery yellow color and turquoise accents. Oh, and the white jeans after Labor Day rule...so stupid and totally meant for breaking. 

Since it will be ridiculously hot in Tennessee for a couple more weeks, I will be easing into fall looks with a pair of booties one day or a light, long cardigan the next but not full on transitioning until I absolutely HAVE to. I really have no fall/winter maternity clothes at all and with 2-2.5 months until the twins arrival I don't want to spend a ton of money on long sleeves, sweaters and more denim that I will just be wearing a short time.

Life's A Beach

The beach scene on this dress is the cutest thing ever! I love these Jete brand quirky patterns...I wore another one here.

This bump is rapidly growing these days.  Every time I take my weekly picture I am amazed how fast my body is changing.  My feet/ankles are starting to swell and you can tell in these pictures.  It's minor and I have been pretty lucky so far but I love my Fall shoe collection and it makes me sad I probably won't be able to wear any of my shoes:(

Teal and Tangerine

I love this color combination...it just screams summer to me. I am trying to soak up as much summer as I can with swing dresses and thong sandals before jeans and sweaters take over. (it will happen faster than you think)

This swing dress shape from Old Navy has been my favorite maternity staple so far. I have worn the black one like 500 times and a couple weeks ago I finally ordered more colors, this bright tangerine being one of them. They are not maternity dresses so scoop one up while you still can.

Festival Days Kimono

If I was going to a festival this summer, I would totally wear this kimono with cut-off shorts.  I love the open back design for an extra surprise when you turn around.  I meant to wear my hair up today but of course I was running late and forgot.  #pregnancybrain

So I know I just saw my parents but they are in town visiting and we are together again.  They are just passing through Knoxville and are staying a couple days with my husband and I before continuing on to Highlands, NC to celebrate their wedding anniversary.  They are so precious!

Eighteen Week Bumpdate and Copacabana Dress

I feel like these little babies are really starting to grow now! I love looking back over all my blog pictures as well as my weekly bump pictures on my phone...my stomach has grown so much in the past couple of weeks. At the end of last week I THINK I felt the babies move...it happened three different times in one day and since this is my first pregnancy, I can't be sure, but I really think it was the twins wiggling around in there. It was the weirdest feeling, like something was tumbling around in my belly, and now I try to drink cold orange juice and lay flat and try to feel them all the time (I'm obsessed).

  Enough baby talk and on to my super cute dress. This is another purchase from my friend's boutique, Southern Bella. She only has one more in stock (size large and that's what I am wearing) so if you want it comment below or leave a message on their Facebook page and let them know. This beautiful dress went fast! Also these ankle wrap sandals have made another appearance...I really need them in black too.

Wear Your Pajamas To Work Day

 Pajama pants are my new favorite and since these particular ones are also animal print, they are pretty much the best thing ever! I have had these Old Navy pants for months and couldn't figure out which top to wear them with...it was hard for me for some reason. I finally tried them on again last night and was determined to make them work. I cant believe I waited so long to wear my "pajamas" to work.

Forever 21 is so hit or miss for me but I ordered a ton of stuff off of the website the other day and this tee was one of the items.  I love that it upgrades my collection of normal, everyday t-shirts with the ruffle hem and floral print.  I can't wait to wear it with white jeans!
