This past weekend I......

......went to the Biltmore in Asheville, N.C.

  ......did a wine tasting with my sister and future brother-in-law

  ......was introduced to the newest member of our family, my sister and her fiance's new puppy Remi

  ......fell in love with this sweet little face that had to leave me yesterday:(

My Favorite Boots

I love the last picture because it looks like a light is shining down from heaven above on my favorite pair of boots. I found these boots on eBay for like $16 bucks and they have no tag inside, no brand, no nothing.  I seriously wear them at least 3-4 times a week.

Over the Weekend...

What a great, relaxing weekend!

Hubs and I-

-Grilled out not once but twice
-Bought a fancy bird feeder and set it up outside our bedroom window
-Planted flowers
-Went to IHOP for dinner on a Saturday night
-Watched two movies
-Stayed in bed entirely too long both weekend mornings

I am officially allowed to say we are old and married! Sometimes it is so nice to be able to unwind and take a "staycation."

Happy almost weekend! I have big, BIG plans for myself. Wanna know what they are...relax, hang with hubbie and clean out my closet. I need a weekend just to chill and get caught up on my life and just take some time to slow down.

Today I actually took the time to plan my outfit out which always works best for me and my type A personality! The weather is beautiful so I let my pasty legs see the sunlight again and absorb some much needed vitamin D (I see a spray tan in my future).
