I am not much of a tights kinda girl but I wear them cause it's freezing outside during the upcoming months, but boot socks...boot socks I love.  They are sold by most retailers as "knee highs" but I hate that name cause it sounds so grandma(ish). 

Leaving town today with the husband to head to Clarksville for an early Thanksgiving dinner with my dad's side of the family on Saturday AND got tickets on Fandango for Catching Fire (WHOOP) so looking forward to the weekend.

I love days when I just randomly pick out items from my closet and they go together. Believe me it is never that easy for me which is why I pick out what I am wearing the night before 99% of the time.

70's Chic...

I felt like channeling a different vibe today ( kindda a 70's vibe??) so I actually broke away from my Old Navy skinny jeans for once and opted for a wider leg jean and just for fun decided on a loose fitting top, cross-body bag and a pendant necklace.  

All that was missing was a floppy hat!

Nautical Stripes...

I did absolutely nothing this past weekend and I loved every minute of it. Sometimes we get so busy that's it is good to take a moment (or in my case a weekend) and just relax with loved ones, catch up on TV shows and stay in your pajamas for the entire day.

Is anyone else loving that Rock & Republic is now at Kohl's?  I bought these jeans and this sweater and have been wearing both like crazy.

Sweater Over A Dress..

When I have an item that fits too snug but I don't want to give it away just quite yet...I improvise.  In this case my Forever 21 dress is a tad tight in the bust area but fits great everywhere else so I decided to throw on a loose fitting sweater and problem solved. 

I can still get wear out of my dress without feeling guilty that it is just sitting in my closet collecting dust.
