I love my boyfriend jeans but don't wear them as often as I should because I never feel put together in them. When I think of "boyfriend jeans" I envision slouchy don't take a shower to run errands type of day. I have pinned (follow me here) many looks featuring this type of jean and the common link is high heels. I immediately felt elongated and not so frumpy when I put on heels and it was the perfect excuse to wear my new baby blues.

My husband calls this my "fishing vest" and I suppose it does look like one, but that doesn't stop me from wearing it.

I am really loving wearing my cargo vest right now and adding this layering piece on top of dresses, with jeans and later pairing it with sweaters.
