After cleaning out my closet yesterday (shop my clothes on Poshmark) I stumbled across my gold bow belt I bought ages ago at Target.  I love it because it reminds me of Kate Spade...but it cost less than $10 bucks.

It seems only fitting that I dressed Parisian chic style (at least from the waist up) after finishing Paula McLain's The Paris Wife. My mom let me borrow the book almost six months ago and I just tossed it aside until recently. It's a fictionalized account of Ernest Hemingway's marriage to Hadley Richardson, the first of his four wives. 

 I started reading it and couldn't put it down!

Ekkk! I was cleaning out my scarves and mitten bins yesterday and found this red snood stashed away with my heavier winter accessories.  The perfect thing to wear with this shades of blue outfit to add some much needed color.

I was recently offered by Sole Provisions, a company that specializes in fashion comfort footwear, to do a review on a pair of their shoes. 

 I love shoes as much as the next girl and will never admit how many supercutebutreallyhurt pairs I actually have in my closet so I was excited to try a pair of shoes that actually provided comfort and support. After browsing the website for a good 40 minutes ( hey-you cannot rush these things) I finally decided on Weil by Orthaheel in Serenity Black.  While I do love comfort, I also love trendy and this shoe combines the two perfectly.  They are nautical-inspired with a 2 inch wedge which covers the fashion part and they also have a orthotic footbed that supports your feet while helping to realign the lower legs and improve posture which covers the comfort part.

Holiday Food Hangover

After being home with my family and nonstop eating during Thanksgiving my Old Navy jeans with just the right amount of stretch and a oversized sweater were the way to go for the first day back to work yesterday.

Note to self- do not take pictures at dusk and do not let husband take pictures anymore (these four were the best of the bunch and that is not saying much).  You cannot really see these silver and gold earrings in all the glory that they need but they are amazing....seriously! Leopard, Dots and Peplum

Leopard is quickly becoming my new black...I have been wearing these wedges with everything and every outfit still seems to work. I am beginning to think of leopard as more of a classic print and by pairing it with polka dots, hot pink, a leopard belt and a peplum shape top; it just makes things that much more interesting.

Black and Leopard

Man-last week was such a busy one! I had something to do every night after work except for Monday so the weekend provided some much needed down time.

I had a completely different outfit picked out in my head to wear to work but when I tried it on, it didn't look right at all. I scrambled to throw on this dress and cardigan and added the leopard at the last minute. I think mixing the prints work and I still made it to work on time.
