Today I decided to get a bit edgy with my Valentine's Day attire. You can't really tell from the pictures but I am wearing faux leather pants people...faux leather, can ya believe it!

 

I love Gwynnie Bee for the simple reason that I try new things that I would never buy for myself. I would have never known that I feel like a total bad ass in these jeans and that they are actually perfect for ladies night out or to feel sexy on a date night with my husband.

Well....apparently I took a one week hiatus from blogging. It wasn't intended and it wasn't like I didn't get dressed last week so my apologies! 

Let's talk about plaid or leopard...or plaid AND leopard.  I bought this scarf on Poshmark(shop my closet) a couple weeks ago and love it.  It is really big so I can wear it a bunch of different ways with a bunch of different things...kinda a win/win in my book.  Everyone knows that leopard is the new neutral so why not throw it into the mix as well.

Energy Boost!!!

That song, "A Marshmallow World" will not get outta my head! I have seriously been singing it over and over- it's enough to make anyone sick of Christmas music. Now that I have created a link to the lyrics we can all sing it and go crazy.

I actually got up and got presentably today, yay for me!!! I have been in a clothing slump because as I stated yesterday I have been eating and drinking my way out of my wardrobe...this has got to stop ASAP. I dusted my ego off and gave myself a little pep talk and planned out what I was gonna wear today to avoid a morning mad scramble. I bought this leopard scarf forever ago and can you believe this is the first time I have ever worn it....I am horrible I know. My boss told me I looked very professional today(I need to give my self-esteem pep talks more often).
