Karen Kane Printed Tunic

 I am in love with this new printed tunic! It is beyond comfortable thanks to the jersey knit material. I have been reaching for more and more items that are easy to throw on, breathable fabrics, and just overall loose and flowy pieces of clothing and this tunic fits all of that. I can see myself wearing this all that way into the summer with different colored denim and shorts.

White Out

 It snowed again (big surprise) in Knoxville...if I wanted to live in weather like this I would have moved to Vermont. I mean, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I am two seconds away from jumping on the next flight to Hawaii outta here.

 

 I have seen countless all white outfits while browsing Pinterest (follow me here) and finally decided to try it myself after being mildly hesitant on putting all white everything on a real, average sized figure instead of stick skinny NY model types that I keep pinning. 

 I have to say...I don't hate it.

Y'all this weather is crazy!  Snow before Thanksgiving?? This is insane!

You can't see it but yes...there was snow on the ground while I was taking these pictures.  I have on boot socks under the boots and a tank top, sweater, jacket and scarf and it is still bitterly, miserably cold.  

I despise winter...can you tell?

Every time I go into Target it seems like I buy ANOTHER plaid button down shirt...I mean, thank goodness they are in style but my collection is getting a tad out of control.  

I love plaid button downs though- you can wear them with jeans, dress them up for work with a skirt or black slacks, throw them on over a summer sleeveless dress to "winterize" them, the possibilities are endless.

I actually bought this top for UT football season but never ended up making it to the last couple games and didn't get to wear it.  I love the little pop of solid orange on the back and the flowy sleeves.

I love my boyfriend jeans but don't wear them as often as I should because I never feel put together in them. When I think of "boyfriend jeans" I envision slouchy don't take a shower to run errands type of day. I have pinned (follow me here) many looks featuring this type of jean and the common link is high heels. I immediately felt elongated and not so frumpy when I put on heels and it was the perfect excuse to wear my new baby blues.
