This dress is seriously gorgeous in person, the pictures don't do all the beautiful color's justice. I am really loving Melissa McCarthy Seven7 line...everything I have tried on has been such a good fit and very well made. 

This tiered peasant dress was a tiny bit out of my comfort zone but I am so glad I decided to wear it.  It's very airy and I love the way it floats around me when I walk.  Definitely a perfect dress to wear to a summer event like a wedding!

 A little personal update today...

The nanny search is narrowing down for my babies. We have our top two potential nanny's coming on Monday to "shadow" me for a couple of hours so I can get a feel for how they will interact with myself and the twins. This process has been very long and I hope to find the perfect fit and we can find someone that will love my babies enough to stay with us longer term so we don't have to do this again.

 I was running late today (mom problems) and this dress was such a quick fix to throw on and still look pulled together for my business casual work environment. I love the little keyhole neckline making it have a little sex appeal:)

Tassel Craze...

I just LOVE when I find one of a kind dresses on Poshmark, especially when they are on trend and have tassel's. (Shop my Poshmark closet here) This dress is so cute and comfortable and loving the colors of it. I am 5'6 for reference on where it hits me and linked below where to buy.

 I got these tassel earrings a couple season's ago before tassel everything was even trendy so of course I had to pair them with this dress. They were really long earrings so I just cut a inch or two off and now they are more wearable for me, plus turquoise colored anything is an immediate favorite of mine.

Vintage Sweetness...

As soon as I saw this baby blue dress while searching Ebay one day, I knew it had to be mine so thank goodness it fit!  I believe in mixing and matching vintage pieces with current ones so I added a Target belt and Forever 21 bow kitten heels to complete my outfit.

Alibaba Necklace

I love a good statement necklace so when AliExpress by Alibaba asked me to style a piece for them I immediately gravitated towards this curve necklace. I can't wait to wear it with a little black dress and it will turn a plain black turtleneck into something fabulous.  Keep your eyes out cause I have a feeling my new necklace will be showing up on the blog frequently!

Dress and Cowboy Boots

I like wearing my cowboy boots with casual dresses...although I am from the South, I don't like looking overly "country". I avoid plaid, huge belt buckles, suede and fringe while wearing them and try and keep everything else to a minimum.

No cattle drives or rodeos for this girl and now that I think about it I don't own anything with fringe or a huge belt buckle anyways.

Warm Weather

The weather was so nice here yesterday and I discovered the buttercups blooming in the front yard in February...February for goodness sake! I am going to get so spoiled and then it will go and get cold again and I will freeze my bum off.

I got this skirt a while ago but have been holding on to it because it just felt more Spring/Summer looking to me and with the temperature at 70 degrees there is no time like the present.

Fall to Winter

We are going out of town this weekend to a cabin in the woods and I am sure to be wearing a ton of lounge wear while we watch tv, play games and eat so I decided to dress up (a little more than my usual skinny jeans) for work. This is a prime example of a summer/fall skirt transitioning in my wardrobe to the winter months. See how I wore it during the late fall here.

Black on Black

I have been wearing black and white a lot lately, maybe it's the cold weather and depressing rain but I cannot get into the bright spring colors quite yet. I have been trying to push myself with pops of color like my lime green clutch or bright jewelry. Don't expect me to wear head to toe neon orange anytime soon though...

Summer Dress In The Winter

I have a ton of short sleeve and sleeveless dresses. In order for me to use all of my closet during the colder months, I have to start getting more and more creative.

This outfit was really simple and requires little effort but such an easy way to winterize a summer dress. Just throw on a denim jacket, winter scarf and some cowboy boots and a perfect casual day outfit is born.
